What to Expect
We Saved You a Seat!
There are people attending, and even leading The Gathering, who have major hurts, struggles, and baggage. We’re a community of imperfect people who don’t have it all together but are discovering what it means to find life in Jesus, to follow Him fully, to break free from our past, and to walk in victory together. That’s who we are.
If you’ve never been to The Gathering and you’re considering coming, here’s what you should expect:
A Casual Atmosphere
Our dress code is simple: wear something. Feel free to come in whatever is comfortable for you. Grab a drink and snack from our coffee area and sit wherever you’d like. We will not single you out publicly or ask you to say anything. We do encourage you to start a conversation with someone if you feel comfortable to do so!
Music and Practical Teaching
Bible-centered preaching and teaching that connects to everyday life as well music are two of the major components in our Sunday worship services. Don’t be surprised when some people raise their hands as a sign of praise while singing, and don’t feel obligated to do so yourself.
Don’t worry… we don’t bite! You can expect someone to say hi to you or give you a smile. We value people and we love building community! There will always be opportunities to have a conversation with someone.
Every color, every shape, every personality, and people with every kind of story imaginable. We trust the Bible completely even when we don’t fully understand it. We value investing in people and multiplying disciples. We are all about the name and fame of Jesus Christ.
